Auckland, baby boom generation, boomers, dogs, pets, wag n walk
Saturday was Auckland’s annual Wag ‘n Walk. Hundreds of dog owners and their furry friends descended on the Domain in central Auckland for a fun day out. Our wee woolly charmer was in his element, “working the park” from the minute he arrived. At only 20 months, he’s a real character and oh, so wise! Today and everyday, he reminds us of life’s most important lessons:
- eat only when hungry
- eat only until satisfied
- drink lots of water
- seek shade on a hot day
- exercise outdoors, even if it’s raining
- rest when tired
- stretch often
- be playful
- get lots of sleep
- be patient
- meet strangers with curiosity
- greet friends with joyful exuberance
- love unconditionally
Do you have a pet? How has s/he enriched your life? We’d love to hear from you…..
Until next time,

What a charmer you have! Love his face, so sweet! I have a basset hound and there just isn’t enough room here to cover all the ways he has enriched my life. LOVE my dog!
